The whole plants is used against chronic asthma. The plant has anti inflammatory and antifungal properties. Used internally for arthritis, neuralgia, common cold, cough, bronchial phlegm or mucous, diarrhoea, eye baths, fatigue; used as a bitter tonic.
Waltheria is a Hawaiian plant and is also used for bladder infections and giddiness.
